Give an overview of your experience in the Aquaculture Department.

“Firstly, as my first job, it is an amazing and incredible experience, whereby I have gained a lot of knowledge. The two courses we went abroad, made me understand aquaculture much better, especially the basics of aquaculture. We gained knowledge and experience on finfish management and with the continuous training from our mentor it has been very fruitful. I am looking forward for more opportunity and training as I know it will broaden my knowledge and experience even more.”

What are your goals for the future?

“My goal is to continue my profession at the Seychelles Fishing Authority in the Aquaculture Department. I am also looking forward to attend other courses which will lead me to produce and develop more in Aquaculture. Maybe open a small mud crab farming business in future.”
