Starting an aquaculture business

Applicants must liaise with SFA for business interest in Aquaculture. SFA will register your interest and access your project concept. Applicants will fill in an Aquaculture Registration Form and pay for an Aquaculture Licence Application fee. SFA will provide applicants with a Documentation Pack which will enable them to prepare a Business Plan which they will submit directly to SFA for first approval. SFA conducts internal and external procedures until final approval of Aquaculture License. Successful applicants will receive a Feedback Letter from SFA. Business Registration and Tax Identification Number can only be applied for upon receipt of the Feedback Letter. Investors undertakes Class 1 EIA and establish capital raising – proof of funds. SFA issues an Aquaculture Licence where you can commence with your business.

  8. Applicants proceed with Business Registration and Tax Identification Number
  9. Investors undertakes Class 1 EIA and establish capital raising – proof of funds.
  10. Applicants received Aquaculture License and commence with Aquaculture Business
