What I get most excited about my job is that it’s never boring. I have never once had a negative thought about going to work in the morning because I am always looking forward to it. Even though the challenges are tough there’s never a dull moment as the team has united into a family and is always willing to lend a helping hand when required. The kind of work we do also helps to keep things interesting as it varies from feeding and taking care of the broodstock to maintaining and fixing equipment. Another great thing is that the management team listens to our input and anticipates for us to better our skills.

 

As I learn and develop new skills it’s easier to find new ways to become more innovative and I feel like all my contributions towards moving the aquaculture industry forward has helped me to be a better version of myself. My greatest achievement so far is not letting the knowledge I have gained go to waste, leaving me wanting to learn more and dedicating myself to my work.
